Year 2007
It is now 12pm on the 31st of December 2007 and in a matter of hours, I will be waving this bitter-sweet year goodbye. I must say that this year was a special year, maybe not a brilliant one, but a year in which I have experienced much.

On a surface level, it was a year I started afresh but ended pretty differently. It was a year became a arts and law student, worked as a waitress, visited Sydney, survived first-year uni and certainly done much damages to my young life, screwing things up from time to time.

On a deeper level, many wounds were inflicted and healed and many scars were left, but there were some great achievements, much was forgiven and happy times were not absent.

Year 2007, I have come to make some awesome friends, get use to my long distance relationship,

come to love coffee – especially mocha, come to love cats,

come to love shopping, love the beach,

summerlove

come to love photoshop and love English drama series.

On the downside, I have c
ome to be a chocoholic - constantly munching on chocolate snack bars during exam period *violent head shakes*

Put on a fair bit of weight *big sighs*

Come to be a lazy bum - too lazy to buy groceries from the market and thus survived on coffee and microwavable vegetables *sighs*, but studies was indeed my priorities and I do not like spending my much precious time on house-chores and cooking and buying groceries =P

Spent a lot of money - Oh, the convenience of having my employer paying me about 80 dollars a week, cash on hand, and thus rendered me spending much money on coffee, subway sandwiches, foccacia and eating out, as well as spending on flight tickets and on shopping! (oh, the beautiful ballet palms, heels, summer dresses, vibrant-colour sexy-looking bikini etc.)

And the most disappointing of all, a year in which my year 2007 new-year-resolution was a total waste. So, I guess I won't be making year 2008 new-year-resolution. I know I am hopeless. =(

Well, I guess it was a year well-spent; a year that was full of unexpectedness, a journey with many ups and downs, and a year with many falls, but had me slowly getting up on my feet.

I think this was 'journey-year' for me, and I think I am ready for the unexpectedness and the challenges that year 2008 holds for me. Though I am a bit nervous in welcoming year 2008, I am in no position to stop 2007 from slipping away. So, goodbye year 2007 and welcome year 2008. I am wishing for a brilliant year.

P/s: Am hoping to have a great time tonight.

I hereby wishing everyone a wonderful new year eve and an awesome new year to come. =)
