21 May 2008

Oh my God! It’s 9.22 am in the morning and it is freezing cold outside. Winter is definitely approaching and I am not looking forward to the cold. Winter is such a pain. Besides the horribly cold weather, it is terribly miserable and depressing with the lack of sunlight. While the concept of hibernation sounds good - stay in bed all day and gorge down heaps of hot good food e.g. hot chocolate, chocolate fudge etc

- the long term effect is that you ended up earning yourself a big belly after winter and it will be too late until it comes to spring, because you are accustomed to the habit of hibernation and you need more time to lose all the flab.'

I really cannot wait for summer to come,

cannot wait for the beaches,

water sports, snorkelling, swimming sessions, tanning sessions,

picnicking at the gardens, perhaps a good run or some activities under the sun

and oh, definitely shopping, showing off fabulous bodies in hot frocks,

glamorous outfits

and hot bikinis,

and! It is so good to walk on the streets late at night without the need of a jacket!

Lynn, I just read your blog, can you please bring me along as your travelling partner when you go to Bali end of this year? Please, please, pretty please? I want to cam-whore and do all those fun stuff with you. Please?! *innocent eyes*

Okay, back to reality. I guess it is good that it’s cold when we are supposed to study. At least it will be less tempting to get outdoors and do all those fun stuff, but when exams are over, it’s a whole new different thing.

My mind is currently filled with activities I hope to do during the winter holidays and they constantly pop up when I am suppose to concentrate when studying.

One of the major activities: SHOPPING! :) But the down side is you need to take off so many layers of clothes when you try out different outfits. Oh well, I guess with shopping for knit-caps, scarves, gloves, coats, shoes, gorgeous pumps etc, they do not require me to remove layers of clothes :P

I am currently very tired. I sleep at around 12 and woke up at 4.45am this morning. Crazy, yeah? But I can’t afford to miss another swimming training. I missed it on Monday. Well, I guess one night of insufficient sleep is alright as long as you catch up with sleep the day after. But no! Yesterday, I woke up at 6ish am and the night before I actually slept at 1am! You might ask, why 6ish am? Crazy! Yeah, it was, but it was oodles of fun waking up early in the morning, stumble into one of your friend’s apartment’s empty pool, take your time swimming lapse after lapse without a coach and without fear of slowing everyone else swimming at your lane. And then, the fun and relaxing part is...*wait for it*....the JACUZZI. Yes, it just spells out BLISS! :)

So anyway, this morning, I had to stumble out of my warm bed (mind you, I switched on the electric blanket), get dressed and came to uni for swimming training.

Every time the car was parked, I hope we had just finished training because I love the feeling after exercising, not exactly during training: the agony, the pain and the feeling that you are out of breath. Today’s training was pretty intense: 3 times 200m Freestyle, 3 sets of them. I did a couple 200m but the rest of them, I did 150m. I am pretty happy with that, considering how unfit I am and how super-fit my swimming mates are, but it was all good, glad that I did push myself. :) Well, now, I am just so tired it’s not funny. I am physically tired with the lack of sleep and the amount of strength I had pulled out during training. Trust me, if there is a bed right here, I would have fall asleep straight away. Oh, maybe not, I just had mushrooms on toast. I can’t sleep right after breakfast. It will waste all my work this morning!

Okay, enough of ramblings. I need to do some work before contracts lecture at 10.30. Bye! :)

P/s: Right after I typed this entry, I had a ‘shut-eye’. Oh well, can’t blame me, I was and am really tired.

Well, I know I said this like a million times that I want a high megapixel camera but now I kind of want a high megapixel waterproof camera in which I can take pictures underwater in the pool. How cool is that?! At the moment, I really miss cam-whoring but I guess this Friday provides a bit of a promise for an opportunity to cam-whore with my girls: Taniya, Natalie and Amber. Ish, I am left out because my birthday was a few months earlier. :(

Okay, that’s the end of the torts lecture break!

P/s: I smell of chlorine. :P

It’s fun studying with my girl friends at State Library. Love you guys. :)

Alright, back to fairy tales tradition assignment.

P/s: I am so full. I think I am going to be FAT!

Hm. This was a few weeks ago?
