Gosh! Super hate this! I have been slacking for such a long time. Andrew might be right. The slackest year 12 I have ever seen, but not quite. I had 4 SACs, a test, house music and cross country last week. Chinese, Biology and Math were pretty good. I guess Chemistry was ok. My physics test however, I have no idea. After a long week at school, I have got a whole class detention after school on FRIDAY! That’s so lame. House Music was ok, not as fun as last year’s, but at least we weren’t at the 10th place. Guess which position we are! The 9th! Oh well, ‘Cartwrightians’ have not talents in music, drama, what-so-ever apart from sports. Not me though. But then, I gave my best for the 3.3km cross country run, was a bit cross that I got my shoes muddy though.
Anyway, Saturday and Sunday was pretty good. Oh yea, Saturday was Chris’ birthday, but oh well, he’s not around, I can’t celebrate with him. After such a tiring week at school, I guess a little fun will do no harm. Steamboat dinner at Joshie’s place with a bunch of wacky Christians was awesome! It was really fun having connect time with these amazing servants of God, who are so passionate, humorous, generous and the list goes on. Rachel, the innocent leader was doubtful about some of her team members like Andrew and Josh, but definitely not doubting the full of maternal instinct Ivy, she’s such a ‘wow-factor’, a Psalm 31 woman as Emily, the coolest mum mentioned. =D Thanks Rachel for being so generous and thanks to Ivy for serving us so well! After such a delicious dinner with finger-licking good chili paste, we had DESSERT! Guess what we had? Fruit cocktail, gelato and DURIANS! Haha. We were fed so well that all our stomach was bulking after dinner and we could not resist such good desserts right in front our eyes. The gelato’s flavours were Roche, Mango and Durian. It was very rich and therefore very satisfying. Thanks Ann for the gelato. It’ was really kind of you! Durian without a doubt was awesome, but Andrew wouldn’t even try it. Oh well, we won’t waste such precious fruit on you. In conclusion, want to thank everyone who was there that night. It was a really fun night! I love you guys. I did have a fun filled night and I was very much well fed!
Sunday was pretty good too. We went to Albert Park for lunch and once again, we were kind of over-fed. Haha. Not to mention, Salsa was FUN! My whole weekend was purely out with this bunch of awesome leaders, wacky yet generous and passionate. =) I did not do much work during those two days and I know I have definitely gained some weight. I’m off to Fitness First now, hope I am not late. By the way, I haven’t been cooking myself a good dinner. I guess I seriously need to school myself! Come one tzeshin! Stop being such a sloth!
